Another charity game gone, and what a cracking game it was to take part in with eleven players, plus four goalies, and everyone worked hard playing for whatever side they were on, white or colours.

It was a good fast game with very few being sent off for fowling, no punch ups for a change, and no injuries. Plus this was just the type of game for the new to hockey to be involved in.

A big thanks to Nadia, her sister, and friend for coming along to take the entrance money, sell teas, and cakes, everyone who baked cakes, and not forgetting Joe Laird for helping out with the charity work.

The actual total was £ 1, 553,54 of which £ 200 went to pay for the ice. The Galleon centre gave us one hour free ice along with discounted teas, and coffees, plus all the staff at the Galleon helped make our day happen, so a big thanks to them.
